From the 26 th to the 30 th of August 2024, two national procurement officers from NPC – Mr. Boaventura Pereira and Mr. Valdo Cruz – took part in the "E-Procurement Education Program in Asia and Pacific Region" in Seoul, South Korea, delivered by the Korea Institute of Procurement (KIP), the Public Procurement Services (PPS) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to an audience of delegates from ten Asian countries and Pacific Islands. After the initial lectures, the procurement officers proceeded with site visits to the following locations: National Information Resources Services (NIRS) facilities;E-Government and Cybersecurity and Korea Online E-Procurement System (KONEPS). The last few days continued with a group discussion on an action plan, from which our officers delivered a final presentation for the regions of Timor-Leste, Nepal and Fiji.
