On August 19 th , 2024, NPC’s Deputy Director, Mr. Nelson dos Santos Gusmão, traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of a post-qualification team for the above-mentioned project consisting of representatives of NPC, Project Owner - the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Forestry - and MPIE (represented by its main advisor, Mr. Júlio Tomás Pinto). The team attended a meeting with the company PT. Minarta Dutahutama proceeding then to a field visit (in Majalengka, West Java province) in order to observe irrigation works in progress. Following on from this, the post-qualification team met with representatives of PT Minarta Dutahutama and the National Bank of Indonesia (BNI) in order to confirm the company's financial situation. Finally, on August 21 st , the post-qualification team carried out an official visit to the Indonesian Public Works Office for a meeting with the local Irrigation Directorate.
