CNA’s technical team – led by Mr. Valdo da Cruz as Coordinator of Procurement of Works – and the Ministry of Public Works’ (MOP) team– represented by Mr. Martinho Graciano – took part in the technical bid opening for the Road Upgrading and Maintenance of Lautem – Com section, Sta. 00+060 –sta. 28+040 (27,980 Km), Lautem Municipality, The technical bid opening took place at CNA’s meeting room in Balide - Díli - and it was conducted by Ms. Nayara Fernandes as junior procurement officer. From the publication of the invitation for bids until the deadline set for bids’ submission - on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 3 pm - CNA has received nine (9) bids for the above-mentioned project. In this event, the majority of bidders were Chinese and one from Indonesia. In accordance with procedural rules, the representatives of each bidder, as well as the project owner’s, participated in the public bid opening session in order to assure the transparency of the public tender process.
At the end, all parties signed the minutes of technical bid opening – namely CNA, MOP as the project owner and the representatives of each company – and got a copy of the document.
