On January 17^th, the NPC and the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) team together conducted a site visit to Covalima Municipality to observe the road conditions in Fohorua-Leogore, Maucatar. This site visit activity is a process in the procurement cycle that gives the opportunity to interested companies to observe directly the conditions in the field in order to prepare their bids accordingly. Thus, this event was attended by national and international companies that are interested in participating in the tender for the project.

The MPW is the project owner and the procedure will be based on the Legal Regime of Procurement, Public Contracts and its Infringements, which has been approved by the Decree-Law no. 22/2022 of May 11^th.
