Baucau, January 17^th, 2025

Invited by H. E. the Minister of Planning and Strategic Investment (MPIE), Mr. Gastão Francisco de Sousa, CNA’s Deputy Director - Mr. Nelson dos Santos Gusmão – together with CNA procurement officers attended the foundation stone launching ceremony for the Triloka, Fatumaka-Loibulo, Venilale, Baucau Road Rehabilitation Project.

During the ceremony, the Minister of MPIE stated that the rehabilitation of the road is a continuation of a project of the 8th Government, and demanded the seriousness as well as responsibility from the awarded companies in the execution because there will be no time extension for the project. Furthermore, the Minister highlighted the importance of the road to support the development needs of the people, and requested the municipal authority to involve the populations from all sucos in order to collaborate and support the development in the region.

Other ministries and agencies under the MPIE"s supervision also took part in the event, namely the MPS, ADN, UPI, among others.
