The ceremony of the Raising of the National Flag took place today at the premises of the National Procurement Commission, presided over by the Executive Director, Mr. Hermingardo Albano Soares, as the Inspector of the ceremony. 

Mr. Teotónio Magno was the commander of the parade and Ms. Graciete Ximenes was in charge of the protocol, while Mr. Ruben de Araújo was the designated commander of the platoon.

The ceremony was also attended by three Civil Security officials who assisted in the process of hoisting the national flag. The Executive Director delivered a short speech, requesting NPC’s staff to continue to perform their duties with integrity, professionalism and full dedication. Lastly, he dedicated a few words of tribute to our recently deceased colleague, Mr. Francisco de Sousa, as an example of humanity and dedication to others.
